They are delightful and refreshing drinks to use on a modified fast or detox diet. Flavored waters can even be used if you are juice fasting to provide more variety with your liquid intake. One great benefit for your health is that they lack the concentrated sugar of pure fruit juice or soft drinks. You may drink up to several glasses of flavored water each day, if well tolerated.
I share with you one of my favorite fruit flavored water recipes using delicious peaches and blueberries. It’s a refreshing drink to enjoy any time!
1/2 cup peaches, sliced
1/2 cup blueberries
2 quart jar
2 quarts filtered water
Add peaches and blueberries to a 2 quart jar. Add filtered water. You can drink the flavored water right away or refrigerate for 1-2 hours to intensify the flavors.
