Healing Sea Salt and Soda Bath

roses_110240342Baths are one of my favorite self-care treats. I particularly love sea salt and soda baths because they are a relaxing and gentle way to detoxify the body and can be enjoyed several times a week.

These baths are alkaline and are deeply restorative to the body by promoting a healthy acid/alkaline balance.

A healthy acid/alkalilne balance is beneficial for your energy, balanced mood, immunity, healthy bones, heart and kidney health and many other essential functions.

How to make a healing sea salt and soda bath:

Fill a bathtub with warm water and add one cup of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) plus one cup of sea salt or one pound of Epsom salt.

You can also add therapeutic essential oils like lavender or rose water for their relaxation benefits and beautiful scents.

Stay in the bath for twenty to thirty minutes to have the full detoxification benefits. Love, Dr. Susan
